Introducing Serverless and Dedicated Plans for GreptimeCloud
We are excited to introduce two new plan options for GreptimeCloud: Serverless and Dedicated. These plans provide flexibility and scalability to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
Serverless
The Serverless plan offers a quick and cost-effective entry point, allowing you to start with a minimal spend and scale seamlessly as your workload grows. Workloads are measured in capacity units for read and write operations. You no longer need to worry about managing servers, nodes, CPUs, or memory. Simply adjust the capacity from your service's settings page, and we'll handle the scaling for you. The write and read capacity can be adjusted independently to match your traffic patterns.
Dedicated
For critical production applications, the Dedicated plan provides a robust solution. With this plan, you can design your own GreptimeDB cluster by specifying the desired number of Frontend (GreptimeDB's stateless compute nodes) and Datanode (storage nodes) instances. You'll benefit from complete isolation, full control over your cluster, and access to advanced GreptimeDB features like Python scripting.

The free-tier plan, now renamed to Hobby plan, is kept to allow developers to work on small-scale time-series data projects. See pricing for details.
Visualization Enhancements in Prometheus Workbench
The visualization module in our Prometheus Workbench has undergone a comprehensive redesign. This update introduces an intuitive visualization builder, streamlining the process of creating panels. Additionally, you can now add multiple queries to a single chart, providing a more comprehensive view of your data.

Additional Update and Improvement
- The usage page of console is now showing 7-days traffic measured in our write capacity unit (WCU) and read capacity unit (RCU).
- GreptimeCloud is now fully responsive for access from mobile devices.
